Overview

The X By XREAL a01+ is the debut release under XREAL's X By XREAL sub-brand, positioned as an entry-level display wearable priced at $299. Weighing 62 g, the glasses project a 147-inch virtual screen using birdbath optics and 0.6-inch SeeYa Micro-OLED panels. The displays deliver a 1920x1080 resolution per eye with a 50-degree field of view.

To support gaming and video playback, the a01+ features a 120 Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1,600 nits of brightness. Because the glasses lack an onboard battery, cameras, or on-device AI, they remain lightweight and rely on a continuous USB-C cable connection to draw power and video from laptops, smartphones, and handheld gaming devices. Dual microphones are also built in for voice pickup.
