Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 Wayfarer

The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 Wayfarer updates the established Wayfarer shape with Meta's Gen 3 platform, combining camera, audio, battery, and AI upgrades into a classic frame. Released on September 23, 2026, and priced from $449, these smart glasses do not include a display, focusing instead on hands-free capture and audio features without requiring a cable.

Media capture is driven by a 12 MP camera capable of recording 3K Ultra HD video. For audio, the frames feature open-ear speakers alongside a 6-microphone array engineered for over 90% background-noise reduction. Power lasts for up to 9 hours of battery life on the glasses.

The AI experience integrates Meta AI and Muse, providing voice assistance that relies on external connectivity rather than on-device AI processing. In the broader AI glasses market, the model offers high-resolution video capture and an extensive microphone setup for buyers who prioritize traditional eyewear styling over heads-up displays.
