Overview

The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 Aviator brings Meta's AI glasses platform to an iconic silhouette. Released on September 23, 2026, for $449, this model features a limited vintage-inspired colorway celebrating the frame's 90th anniversary while incorporating modern Gen 3 hardware. It operates completely cable-free and skips an integrated display in favor of an audio and camera-first smart experience.

Everyday performance centers on media capture, voice calls, and assistant interaction. The frame features a 12 MP camera capable of recording 3K Ultra HD video, paired with open-ear audio speakers and a 6-microphone array that provides over 90% background-noise reduction. Users interact with Meta AI and Muse, backed by a 9-hour battery life.

Priced at the start of the Gen 3 range, this Aviator edition fits into the market as a design-forward wearable. Without heads-up display visuals or on-device AI processing, it focuses strictly on audio, video capture, and connected intelligence.
