Viture Unveils Pro 2 Smartglasses and Mobile Dock Mini, Prioritizing Comfort

Announced August 6, 2026, Viture celebrated its fifth anniversary by unveiling two new devices: the Pro 2 smartglasses and a more compact Mobile Dock Mini. The company positioned these releases around enhanced user comfort and eye health, with the Pro 2 starting at $299 and the dock priced at $99.

The Viture Pro 2 smartglasses, weighing a mere 63 grams, are Viture's lightest model to date, boasting a design that is 16 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter than its predecessor. To ensure a comfortable fit, Engadget reports the glasses include upgraded temple padding, a wider range of nosepad adjustments, and a standard-issue lens shade.

Viture heavily emphasized eye comfort with what it calls 'UltraClarity 3.0' technology. The Pro 2 features a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits and a smoother field curvature design, aiming for more natural virtual displays and reduced eye strain. It integrates a 10,000mAh battery for extended use and device charging. For gamers, the dock supports the Switch 2 and includes a detachable magnetic adapter that can function as a standalone hub, allowing the handheld to connect to a TV or monitor.
