SmartXY AR99 Pro

Release date: June 2026

Overview

The SmartXY AR99 Pro is an announced pair of phone-tethered heads-up display glasses featuring an ultra-light 25-gram carbon-fiber build. Designed for ODM projects at the EVT3 stage rather than direct retail sale, the model is scheduled for its public debut at SZiOF Shenzhen on June 17, 2026.

Visuals are delivered through a monocular single-green SRG surface-relief waveguide offering 640 x 480 resolution, a 25-degree field of view, 1,800 nits of brightness, and a 30 Hz refresh rate. Because the device uses a tethered display platform with no on-device AI, features such as navigation, translation, teleprompter output, and AI assistance run entirely on a paired phone or partner app.

System navigation relies on a bundled, required paired smart ring. Continuous operation is supported by two 40 mAh user-swappable temple batteries that can be exchanged without interrupting power, though the frame completely omits onboard cameras and speakers.
